PRGF - ENDORET™

Dr. Andrew Murphy, our highly experienced Surrey implant dentist, does all that he can to ensure that his patients have a comfortable experience whilst in his care and accordingly, always looks for ways to improve his treatments. By adding PRFG-ENDORET technology to his procedures, he believes that he has found an ideal solution to the sometimes lengthy delays in healing following dental implant placements.

As would be expected following a dental implant, a small wound is left in the gum and jawbone where the implant has been placed. This wound can take a little time to heal and can prove to be a little uncomfortable and inconvenient for some patients.

By using PRFG-ENDORET technology (plasma rich in growth factor), we are able to replicate nature by isolating proteins taken from a small sample of the patient’s blood and applying these directly to the wound. Whilst this will happen naturally over a period of time if left to its own devices, this method speeds up the process and therefore the recovery period for the patient.
